Sussex Weddings

It was an absolute success for a first Wedding of the season, everyone admired the location, were so full of compliments. If you had not existed, I really do not know where would finally have gone to as in our eyes, nothing else came near what you offer.

Laetitia & Neil

Exclusive use and pretty much free reign during set up to create our perfect day. The venue is stunning with plenty of space, parking etc. All our guests commented on how beautiful it was. We opted to have our ceremony outside by the lake, our food inside the beamed barn and then a huge party in the second and much larger barn.

NIKKI

This venue is so beautiful and we had our perfect wedding day at Rumbolds! You have a ‘blank canvas’ to work with which was ideal for us. We had ~70 people and the lawn facing the lake was a perfect place for the ceremony, and we made the most of the barn, plentiful outdoor seating and outdoor bar to create the laid back atmosphere (sunny day also made that possible!) that we had hoped for

From the moment we saw the venue, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding reception. It didn’t disappoint; in Christopher, you have an amiable, professional and unflappable host. The setting is simply beautiful. A lot of care and attention has been paid to make it perfect for the photographer. 

FIONA

We had our wedding reception at Rumbolds in June and it couldn’t have been better. The venue was absolutely stunning with all of the green gardens and beautiful flowers. Our guests loved it and we got some beautiful photos. You can tell that the owners really take care of it. The barn itself was big enough to fit our 90ish guests, and has permanent fairy lights which make it look amazing. There’s also accommodation onsite which was great for friends with young children.

JIM AND FIONA

Rumbolds surpassed all our hopes and dreams. We spent from the Tuesday before the Wedding staying at Rumbolds with a couple of friends who were helping us to decorate the barn and generally chill out before the big day. Having so much time to relax and get things ready at your own pace really helped. It very much felt like ‘our own space’.
