Stable Cottage
Stable Cottage is a delightful, detached, character barn conversion and has been renovated in 2018. This single-storey bolt-hole offers comfortable and cosy accommodation for couples, and is tucked away enough for it to offer a peaceful retreat. Inside there are beams, some low and views over the lake from the living room window. It is adjacent to stunning manicured grounds with the tranquil lake, pergoda and seating areas. Together with two other cottages, it is peacefully located within the grounds of a stud farm where the main barn dates back to 1578, and is one of the oldest barns in Sussex. They are surrounded by 130 acres of pasture and ancient oak forests on the border of Surrey and Sussex with public footpaths from the door.
